HBO Max is one of the main streaming services that are available out there. Like other similar services, it is available on many platforms. To turn on subtitles, these are the steps you need to follow for both Android and iOS: Select and play your desired content on the HBO Max. After that, tap any part of the screen. This action is meant to bring up the playback controls. Look for the CC button and tap on it to turn on subtitles.
The option is not showing up on the TV. Both version of the app are the same (mobile & tv). When you click on the closed caption menu on the TV it just shows you On or Off. But when you do it on an mobile device it asked you: Audio (English or Spanish) and Subtitle (English or Spanish). Hope they complete the implementation on the TVs.

rkaufmann87. Apple does not read these posts, this is a public forum and the only posters are end users just like you. Please check the Preferences to see if you set the device to have subtitles on, if they are set to "off" already then unplug the device from power for 2-3 minutes then restart. Also, please ensure your device is up-to-date!!!!
