The new SE has the same ISP as the 8 and 8+ but the 8 plus has a dual camera system which makes it better for portrait shots and video. But the SE has the a13 which is 1.4x more powerful than the a11 and it shows that smart hdr is really doing work.
I’ve had the 14 plus and the 15 plus. Definitely go for the 15. Dynamic island, usb-c, better camera. The display also just seems nicer with the higher brightness. I’d say the battery is about the same on both, they both have impressive battery life. I normally do not upgrade yearly but I couldn’t resist the new upgrades so I sold my 14.
It does have insane battery life though if that matters to you due to the lower resolution LCD screen. The 8 Plus is pretty much the pinnacle of the older classic Plus size iPhones so you can't go wrong, IMO it's the best iPhone available in terms of completeness and function. Apple has had 4 years to perfect that design from 2014-2018 and it
The 7 Plus is a great phone and it offers very similar stuff as the iPhone 8 Plus: 4k video recording, water resistance, stereo speakers, 3D Touch, 3GB of RAM, 2nd gen TouchID, dual cameras. If you want to have a much newer device, the 8 Plus offers: better cameras, wireless charging, quick charging, TrueTone display, a glass back, etc.
Yeah it's cooked. I went from 100% must buy to now exploring other options. USA: pixel 8 pro + free watch + average sales tax = $1678 when converted to AUD. Aus: pixel 8 pro + $549 watch - $400 bonus = $1848. And to make it even worse in Australia you only get the $400 voucher once the phone ships, so you can't even order the phone and watch
Smooth phone overall and camera is with pretty good quality. If you want 5x zoom and other things go with either 15 pro or pro max. 15+ has more color options and is overall better bang for the buck. I really loved the blue and green color and they both look amazing with blue being more neutral in color. 1. Share.
But other than this size difference, you can expect similar performance from these displays: they both use LCD technology, although (surprisingly) the iPhone 8 Plus has a slightly higher pixel density (401ppi vs 326ppi). Either way, we’d still prefer the larger size of the iPhone XR display over the extra pixels of the iPhone 8 Plus.
Better battery life and camera system mainly. But coming from the 6 plus as my last iPhone, one-handed use is pretty limited even with reachability unless you've got manimal paws. The inverse is true for the 8, better ease of use one handed but "worse" camera and battery. I'd try them out in the Apple store for a bit and see which one you
